The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary (RDKB) is compiling a list of Qualified Professionals capable of conducting a site-specific Flood Hazard Assessment (FHA) in areas impacted, or could be impacted, by flooding, alluvial fans, debris floods and debris flows. This list is primarily being assembled to support FHAs in the Boundary Region.
The RDKB has produced a Terms of Reference (TOR), accessible through the website link below, outlining the standards and qualifications necessary to complete a RDKB FHA on Alluvial Fans. The forthcoming list will include companies and consultants who have self- identified as qualified to complete an FHA, stamp and sign the FHA Report, and are available for projects in the Boundary region.
If you would like your company’s name included on this list, please provide the following information to watershedplanner@rdkb.com using the subject title: QP info for FHA Alluvial Fan. The details you provide will be available to the public upon request and/or uploaded to the RDKB
website.
